SOS OUTREACH                                                                                                                  1993 to 2014
Executive Director / Founder

• Launched as a grassroots nonprofit, SOS provides funding, mentoring and activities for youth at risk
• Now running at 28 ski areas in 9 states, and has provided programming for over 40,000 kids
• $1,200,000 annual budget and $3.5 million in in-kind contributions with 6 offices, 20 full-time staff, 100+ youth mentors, and 5000 youth annually
• SOS is seen as a best practice in value-based leadership in after-school programming

EAGLE COUNTY COLORADO                                                                                               2001 to 2009
County Commission

• Elected in 2000, one of three Commissioners responsible for administering a $100 million annual budget
• Community programs included long-term economic planning, affordable housing, land use, early childhood development, education, and environmental sustainability​
