He has nearly 25 years experience as a non-profit executive who specializes in youth and social services. For twenty years, he was the Founder and Executive Director of SOS Outreach, one of the country’s largest outdoor experiential youth programs for low income children and children of color, having served over 100,000 youth (www.sosoutreach.org).
Arn was a two term Eagle County Commissioner who’s specialties include non-profit capacity building, leveraging private and public resources for collaboration, Colorado state legislative issues, social justice activism, and early childhood and youth developmental programming.
He has his M.B.A. from the University of Denver and undergraduate degree from DePaul University. He taught snowboarding for 20 years and was an avid long distance mountain bike racer. When not advocating for youth programs, he’s trying to keep up with his two teens.
